Granny Lipintense's Layer of Lard

Protect from moisture and may make one more bouyant.

Granny Lipintense's Layer of Lard will protect its target against rain and other bothersome sources of moisture. It will not keep anyone dry when bathing, so you should still be careful close to basins and lakes.

It may be imbued into magick crystals turning it aquamarine. Wearing such a crystal may prevent the adverse effects of moisture such as sickness or eg drowning. Then again, it might not.

If you'd like to contribute to this please make a copy of your magic skills and your focus tea results and mail them to me witches "Discworld Focus Tea" in the subject line. However, due to focus tea restraints a magic.spells.special bonus of 150 or higher is required.

This spell does come in quite handy for avoiding wetness from the elements and therefore avoiding pesky colds...unless you fail at casting where you then become drenched. And upon my research into lard preventing drowning I discovered that Clover floats. Therefore I cannot dispel any myths/rumours of the life saving values of lard and large bodies of water.
