Honey is a well used commodity in the Witches Guild. Not only is it used to make cold cure it is used by the bucket full (literally sometimes) for the spell Mother Feelbright's Busy Bees.

The basics of this spell is it encourages the bees in the hive to create more honey, it lasts approximately ten minutes. You can see that this has been used on a hive by "look verbose" at the hive. Keeping a hive closed may help increase honey regeneration.
