Crystals

Crystals provide a method for nonwitches to use a variety of witches spells. Using the imbue command a witch can place a spell inside of a crystal.

Obtaining Crystals

Blank crystals can be purchased from the stall in the rubbish pile, Bes Pelargic (off of Ming Lane) and Hilta's stall in Ohulan Cultash. In addition to this crystals can be obtained from Hilta's backroom by doing a quick search of the shelves and checking out the various boxes. These stalls also offer premade crystals.

Crystal Spells

There are five spells that can be imbued into a blank crystal. Once a crystal has been imbued it fills with the spell and becomes a colour.

How does this work

A witches magic.item.worn.amulet and magic.item.talisman bonus determines the strength of crystal that she can make. Evantually though, all crystals will fade and break. The following chart can help you determine a crystals strength as well as determine how much longer the crystal is good for before it breaks.

1. The (size) (color) crystal breaks!
2. It is crystal clear with a faint hint of (color) at its core.
3. It is crystal clear with a small (color) heart.
4. It is nearly clear with a faint cloud of (color) at its heart.
4. It is nearly clear with a faint cloud of (color) at its heart.
5. It is clearing and has a swirling (color) cloud at its heart.
6. It is filled with a swirling (color) cloud.
7. It is a swirling (color).
8. It is solid (color).
9. It is solid, shimmering (color).
10. It is solid, shining (color).
11. It is brilliant (color).

There seem to be another level above brilliant, rumoured to be blazing brilliant. Anyone able to confirm that would be appreciated.

With a 306 IWB I can imbue a crystal to level 9.
