Using a piece of fruit, commonly of the poisoned persuasion, you may tempt NPCs and PKs. Poisoned apples may be found in the Gingerbread cottage (Skund forest), some fruit stalls, and Nadow's basket. The apples will induce vomiting and a comatose like state for the victim (loss of HP and a lowered con stat).
The attempt costs 20 GP plus an additional 20 GP for each person tempted.

Skills: magic.methods.mental.charming (to get the person to eat the fruit) and magic.methods.mental.cursing (to have the person continue to eat the fruit)
Tempting ability will not be affected by the length of your message. There are a variety of ways to tempt including optional posing and using a container to tempt from. I recommend using "syntax tempt" in game and playing with the options.
Tip: For some TMs and XP with this tempt your bat when it's hungry. It feeds your bat but also gives you practice, be careful though, sometimes your bat may resist the tempting. Apparently pickled, rather than dried, poisoned fruit manages to keep more of it's poisonous essence. The spell Banishing of Unnatural Urges (which can be crystalised) offers a resistance to this command. Failed tempts and the result of tempts can lead to being attacked by the victim.
